What is Rocquire?

Rocquire is a marketplace for buying and selling Roblox games. Sellers list games they own, buyers pay through Rocquire at checkout, and payouts are released only after we verify on Roblox that ownership has transferred to the buyer.

Is buying and selling Roblox games allowed?

Roblox's Community Standards prohibit most off-platform marketplace transactions, but include an exception for selling or transferring the rights to your creations as part of a verifiable agreement. Users are responsible for complying with Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards when arranging any sale.

Does Rocquire hold the game during the sale?

Accepted Answer

No. Rocquire never takes possession of the game. The seller transfers it directly to the buyer using Roblox's built-in group ownership transfer, and we verify on Roblox that the transfer happened before releasing the seller's payout.

What if the seller doesn't transfer the game?

Accepted Answer

The seller has 7 days to transfer ownership to the buyer's connected Roblox account. If the transfer never happens or fails our verification check, the order is flagged for review and the buyer can request a refund of the listed price from support. The seller's payout is never released until we confirm the ownership change on Roblox, so the funds don't reach the seller in a failed sale.

How are payments handled?

Payments go through Rocquire. Buyers pay at checkout, Rocquire securely holds the funds, and the seller's payout is released only after we verify on Roblox that ownership of the game has successfully transferred to the buyer. If the transfer never happens or fails verification, the buyer is refunded.

How is a listing verified?

Accepted Answer

Every listing requires the seller to connect their Roblox account via Roblox OAuth. We then use the Roblox public API to confirm they are the game's creator (or the owner of the group that owns the game) before the listing can go live, and we continuously re-check ownership against the Roblox API in the background.

What happens if the Roblox owner changes?

If our background ownership monitor detects that the creator of a listed game has changed, the listing is automatically suspended. If a purchase is already in progress for that listing, the order is cancelled and the buyer is fully refunded. The seller must re-list and re-verify ownership through the normal process before it can go live again.

Does Rocquire charge any fees?

Yes. Rocquire charges a 5% buyer protection fee at checkout and a 5% seller fee deducted from the seller's payout after a verified transfer. There are no listing fees or subscriptions. See the Fees & refunds page for the full breakdown.

How do I sell a game?

Accepted Answer

Connect your Roblox account, pick a game you own (or one owned by a group you control), set a price, and publish. Your listing goes live immediately once ownership is verified.

Can I remove my listing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Remove active listings from your My Listings page at any time — unless a purchase has already been made on the listing, in which case it stays locked until the order is completed, cancelled, or refunded.

How old do I need to be?

You must be at least 13 to use Rocquire. If you're under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Rocquire with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
